Parliament calls to hold an international conference to support Iraqi sovereignty

INA – BAGHDAD

Al-Fateh MP, Hamid Al-Mousawi, intended to submit a request to the parliament presidency to adopt an international conference to support Iraqi sovereignty.

“The Parliament is required to adopt a global conference to be held in Baghdad and come out with international support for Iraqi sovereignty, in addition to concluding agreements with the countries during the conference stipulating the commitment of all to the unity and sovereignty of Iraq and its removal from the arena of international conflicts,” al-Mousawi said to the Iraqi News Agency INA.

He added that "the international conference will be a valuable opportunity to support the world in making the year 2020 the year of Iraqi sovereignty."
