A delegation from the Construction Alliance visited the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to consult on solving the crisis of presenting a candidate for prime minister after Al-Aidani’s refusal.

There is a continuous political movement in order to expedite the presentation of a candidate for prime minister after the nomination of Asaad Al-Eidani was formally withdrawn, said the deputy of the Al-Fateh coalition, Abdul Amir Al-Taiban, to Iraqi News Agency .

He added that a delegation from the Construction Alliance visited the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to consult on submitting a candidate that is acceptable to the Iraqi people," noting that the Construction Alliance is going towards choosing a candidate who possesses the specifications required by the people in terms of independence, not from dual nationals, as well as having administrative experience ".
