Agriculture enters the paragraph of export of surplus crops within the budget of 2020

A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency stated that Minister of Agriculture Salih Al-Hassani and Minister of Industry Saleh Al-Jubouri signed a memorandum to market all fertilizers produced locally by the Ministry of Industry to the agricultural sector in support of the local product.

Al-Hassani stressed, according to the statement, The purchase of locally produced fertilizers will save more than (400) billion for the state treasury and that the signing of the memorandum comes as a second stage for papers and other agreements previously signed to receive urea fertilizers from the Ministry of Industry and grant them to farmers in a way that contributes to encouraging the local product, operating the workforce and providing The hard currency of the country, especially after the successes achieved by the Ministry of Agriculture in raising levels of agricultural production and achieving sufficiency of wheat and large increases in areas designated for paddy cultivation as well as the inclusion of a paragraph to export excess crops in the budget of 2020.
