Sadikoun parliamentary bloc (Honest) affirmed that there are dialogues between the political blocs to form an interim government concerned with preserving security and preparing for the upcoming elections.
The bloc's spokesman Naim al-Aboudi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency: There is a desire by most political blocs to form an interim government that will last between 8 months to a year and not last for three years, but it has not yet obtained an official agreement.
Al-Aboudi pointed out that there is an implicit consensus by everyone to form an interim government that will be responsible for maintaining security and stability and preparing for the upcoming elections, noting that the person of the new prime minister has not yet been identified.
