Al-Halbousi calls for the return of all displaced to their cities

The office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that Al-Halbousi congratulated the Iraqi people on the occasion of the victory day achieved by Iraq as a people and fighters fought together, and they are waging a fierce war on behalf of the whole world against the system of extremism and Daesh terrorism noting that our forces in all its forms presented a historical lesson in sacrifice, valor, and competence, and she managed to stage a fierce battle that the world's great armies could not undergo a great challenge. Also he pointed out that the Iraqi forces were fighting the enemy of the unarmed civilians of our people, and success was an ally of our heroic men when the people supported them. And the land fought with them, and the media and the press stood with them and raised the spirits, until the great historical victory took place. Without their blood and sacrifices, we would not have been safe now.

Al-Halbousi stressed that this achievement must be preserved through continued solidarity and cooperation between citizens and the security forces, calling for cutting the road to all attempts that would undermine confidence in our brothers in the security forces in these circumstances.
