Joint operations to INA: the international coalition forces operate under the command of Iraqi bases

Baghdad - INA

Operations Command confirmed that the international coalition forces are operating under the command of Iraqi bases and that no forces can enter and exit without the approval of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and the Joint Operations Command.

A spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): The news circulated through social media and the media that there are American forces entering Iraq without approval and the knowledge of the Iraqi government and that there are a number of forces entering And going out to Iraq via the Syrian border and heading to American bases is inaccurate news.

Al-Khafaji added that there are no American bases inside Iraqi territories, noting that the forces present now are the international coalition forces and they operate under the command of the Iraqi forces and their presence as experts and not combat forces.
