The Oil Ministry reiterated on Saturday that it was not affected by the export of crude oil during the demonstrations in the southern provinces.
A spokesman for the Oil Ministry Asim Jihad told the Iraqi News Agency that the daily export rates of crude oil in the southern ports were not affected by the demonstrations in Basra, Dhi Qar and Maysan of the demonstrations.
The Ministry of Oil has pointed out according to the final statistics of oil exports and revenues earned for the month of October last that the oil exports have reached one hundred and six million and eight hundred and fifty-nine thousand nine hundred and eighty-two barrels, with revenues amounted to six billion and one hundred and twenty million five hundred and eighty six thousand dollars.
