Baghdad merchants: The acts sabotage in Rusafa caused the burning of 900 shops and stores

A number of representatives of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, that the acts of sabotage affecting private property on the side of Rusafa caused the burning of hundreds of shops and warehouses and losses estimated at billions.

A statement of the province of Baghdad received that the meeting, chaired by the Governor of Baghdad, Mohammed Atta, concluded to form a cell to coordinate positions in order to protect the Iraqi economy and reduce the incidence of burns that affected buildings in Shorja and Rashid Street.

For their part, members of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce spoke of their full support and continued support for peaceful demonstrations, and their rejection of the presence of engineers trying to distort the image of demonstrations by burning commercial buildings.

The statement added that an adviser to the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Mohammed Baqer al-Moussawi, estimated the size of the billions of losses, noting that equivalent to the budget of countries.
