Thwarting a terrorist attack to target Friday prayers at one of Al-Baghdadi mosques

The Defense Ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that a bold qualitative and proactive operation managed to detach the military intelligence division in the seventh division to thwart a terrorist attack aimed at worshipers at a mosque in Baghdadi district, Hit district in Anbar.

The statement said that the intelligence detachments arrived at the place of the explosive belt, which was to be used in the terrorist operation and carried the words (Abu Aisha Al-Shami) in addition to his attack pomegranate with him, pointing out that the seized materials were dealt with in accordance with the established procedures.
