Interior Minister Yassin Taher al-Yasiri said that law-enforcement forces would protect protesters and preserve their lives and public and private property.Cooperation between demonstrators and law enforcement forces to preserve security and protect the lives and property of citizens is a fundamental objective, the interior minister said in a speech during a training parade for law enforcement forces.

The law enforcement forces will be based on the protection of the demonstrators and the preservation of their lives and public and private property, the interior minister said. Al-Yasiri called for attention to training in accordance with modern formulas and theories to give security forces technical skills in dealing with civilians, pointing out that this has a positive impact on the work of the forces in their task of maintaining law and order in the country.
