This came during a meeting chaired by Undersecretary for Extraction Affairs Fayyad Hassan Nehmeh to discuss mechanisms to implement the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers on fulfilling the demands of the demonstrators in the presence of advisers and general managers of oil sector companies and departments, a ministry statement said.
The ministry has created 650 jobs for graduates of the faculties of petroleum engineering, chemical engineering and geology to employ them in the oil sector companies and foreign companies to replace foreign workers, Nehme said, adding that these administrative opportunities have been completed and are underway very soon.
