In response to Marja’, PM forms investigative committee around protesters death

INA – BAGHDAD

PM Adel Abdul Mahdi stated that an investigative committee has been formed around the death of the protesters to hold the responsible ones into account.

The statement included that this comes as a response to the Marja’; the Highest Religious Authority in Iraq; sermon on Friday and as a completion to the ongoing investigations.

The Committee included the concerned ministries, security forces and High Judicial Council representatives in addition to the Parliament and Human Rights Commission.
