Iraq participates in the meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council States, the United States and Jordan

 Iraq was invited by the United States to provide a summary of its foreign policy towards the Gulf states at the end of the meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, the United States and Jordan, the State Department said Wednesday.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency , the ministry said that Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim reviewed the Iraqi government's view on the issues and challenges in the region, noting that Iraq's priorities are to maintain regional security, international peace, and promote stability in the region and the development of trade. Between Iraq and the Gulf Cooperation Council states, as well as the distinctive relationship between Iraq and its non-Arab neighbors Iran and Turkey.
