The House of Representatives voted on the draft law of the Military Industrialization Commission based on the provisions of Articles 61 / clause I and 80 / clause II of the Constitution.
According to a statement from his media office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), MP Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani said that the aim of the legislation of the Military Industrialization Commission comes to establish a base for military industries in Iraq and to meet the needs of the armed and security forces of weapons and ammunition and support the national economy by reducing the import of these Equipment, as well as achieving national security, leveraging national expertise, strengthening national sovereignty and contributing to the security work of the security ministries.
