Al-Halboosi receives National Security Advisor

INA – BAGHDAD

Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received on Sunday, the National Security Advisor and the head of the Popular Mobilization Unit Faleh al-Fayyad.

During the meeting, both have discussed the latest security developments, regional and international developments, efforts in the field of combating terrorism and the repercussions of events in the region and their impact on security and stability in Iraq.

They stressed the need to cooperate and support all security and military institutions to maintain the victory and achieve security in the country, the importance of strengthening relations with neighbouring countries to create a safe environment, the adoption of dialogue to reduce tension and resolve outstanding problems in the region to avoid crises.
