The Supreme Council for anti-Corruption reviews the statistics of integrity cases before the competent courts for 2019

The Supreme Council for anti-Corruption held its seventeenth session under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to review the latest developments, especially with regard to the measures taken in the field of combating corruption by the executive, judicial and supervisory authorities, and follow up the implementation of the recommendations approved by the Council and implement them according to competence.

A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister that  the Council was informed of statistics provided by the Supreme Judicial Council, including the integrity cases submitted for 2019 before the competent courts and the number of 8824 cases throughout Iraq and completed 5847 cases for all courts, and stressed the need to assign authority  Judges should be empowered to perform their duties, especially those related to integrity issues, with the need for quick resolution.
