President Salih Receives Iraqi National Security Advisor

INA – BAGHDAD

President Barham Salih met the National Security Advisor and the Head of the Popular Mobilization Committee – PMC falih al-Fayyadh on Wednesday.

During the meeting, both have discussed political and security situations in the country, and developments of events in the region.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of consolidating security and stability as well as maintaining the lives and property of all Iraqis.

President Salih underscored the need for concerted and integration efforts, made by security and military Institutions for protecting triumphs, achieved over Daesh terrorist groups.

Salih also noted the importance of stepping up Iraq's ties with the fraternal, neighbouring and friendly States, and enhancing openness towards the world's states away from axes policy.
