Al-Kaabi holds a meeting with the Preparatory Committee of the Conference of the Asian Parliaments Assembly, which will be held in Baghdad from 3-5 September

The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, on Tuesday, a meeting with the preparatory committee chaired by MP Alaa Talabani, and the meeting of the Standing Committee for Budget and Planning of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments, which will be held from 3 to 5 September 2019 in Baghdad.

Al-Kaabi discussed, according to a statement received by the Information Office, the preparation of procedures and issues related to the invitations of the presidents of Asian parliaments as well as the necessary logistical, security and technical arrangements, and in connection with coordination with the government team, calling on all relevant parties to cooperate and exert more effort and high keenness for the success of the work. This meeting stressing that the responsibility of the success of the activities of this conference rests with everyone without exception.
