Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim on Sunday received a copy of the credentials of Georgia's non-resident ambassador to Baghdad, Zaz Kandilanki.
According to a statement the two sides discussed ways to improve bilateral relations between the two countries, and the importance of enhancing opportunities for cooperation at various levels to meet the aspirations of the two peoples.
The Foreign Minister stressed the importance of opening wider horizons for constructive cooperation, stressing that Iraq strategy in its relations starts from taking into account the common interests with the countries of the world and to serve progress and prosperity for our people and friendly peoples. Because of its positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.
