Hibt Al Halbousi discussed with the Russian ambassador the entry of Russian companies in energy and investment projects.

The head of the Oil and Energy Committee Hibt Al Halbousi, on Thursday, with the Russian ambassador in Baghdad to support Iraq to enter Russian companies to compete in energy and investment projects in the country.

It was agreed earlier with the Ministry of Electricity to encourage Russian companies and cooperate in all energy projects, Halbousi said in a statement he received. Stressing that the need of Iraq is increasing to electric power because of the continuous increase as the population of electricity consumption increases and increase their number annually.
