Defence Minister Najah al-Shammari discussed with his Australian counterpart the training and development Iraqi army skills.
Al-Shammari met Australian Defence Minister Linda Reynolds and discussed with her ways to develop relations between Iraq and Australia, especially in training and developing skills of the Iraqi army, the ministry said in a statement.
The Australian side agreed to discuss the request to increase training seats in Australian military colleges, Linda Reynolds praised the Iraqi army's heroism in fight against terrorism.
