Umm Qasr Al-Shamali border crossing revenue up to ID 2 b/ day

THE General Commission for Customs announced on Monday that Umm Qasr Al-Shamali border crossing grosses a daily revenue of about ID 2 b. the Commission said in a statement (Ina received a copy of): “the Umm Qasr Al-Shamali/ Basra Governorate grosses about 2 b Iraqi Dinars daily revenue”. The statement added: “Al-Sheeb border crossing (aided by the Customs Police) refused admitting a shipment of tomato paste after failing the lab test conducted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control; as it didn’t conform to the specifications and approved standards”.
