Al-Ghadhban meets head of Siemens, Germany

  Iraqi government has signed memorandums of understanding with international companies to develop the electricity sector in the country, rehabilitate existing stations and expand the transmission and distribution nets, and meet the needs of citizens, industrial and commercial sectors of electricity, Ghadhban said during a meeting with Siemens CEO Joe Kaiser.

 The signing of a roadmap with the German company Siemens will promote and develop the reality of electricity system, praising the company's keenness to expand the prospects of cooperation through projects for a strategy. Oil minister said.

 For his part, Kaiser said that siemens company is working a program to develop the electricity system in Iraq and the actual implementation of the strategic roadmap, in addition to training programs for Iraqi companies and provide job opportunities prepared by the company within a memorandum of understanding signed, noting that his company is part of Iraq future, as it was part of past in project implementation.
