Justice Minister Farouk Amin Shwani on Thursday stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and exchanging legal experiences between the two countries.
Al-Shwani met the Italian ambassador in Iraq, and stressed during the meeting that Iraq is obliged to implement the agreements signed by Iraq. Ministry of justice said.
The two sides discussed the importance joint cooperation according to the governmental program, which seeks to openness in various fields, foremost of which is the fight against corruption and the contribution all countries in human rights file in liberated areas.
The Italian ambassador stressed the commitment of his government to support Iraqi government and Ministry of Justice in various legal fields and mobilize the international community to support Iraq in reconstruction areas and the trail Daesh gangs.
