The Commission of Integrity revealed on Wednesday a tampering of 2.5 billion Iraqi Dinars in documents of hospital buildings in Kirkuk Province. A statement of the Commission (Ina received a copy of) said: “the Department of Investigation at the Integrity Commission caught tampering cases in the disbursement document for a public hospital construction in Hawija district of Kirkuk Province. This tampering amounted to 2.5 billion Iraqi Dinars”. The statement added: “The original document of the final draft form and the disbursement order (by which the amount of the increase has been disbursed in violation of the law) were caught. The preliminary investigations led to disclosing a scratch and write off on the amount of additional works (from 3.6 billion Iraqi dinars to 6 billion Iraqi dinars); revealing a difference of 2.460 billion Iraqi dinars”
