INA – BAGHDAD
President Barham Salih received the Minister of Culture Abdul Ameer al-Hamdani, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad on Sunday.
The meeting touched on efforts to complete the inscription of Babylon archaeological site within the World Heritage List.
Salih asserted the necessity to pay attention to the cultural heritage as well as the importance of providing necessary support to the Ministry of Culture and overcoming the difficulties faced by it.
For his part, Minister al-Hamdani thanked the President for his continued support for the country’s cultural status.
He reiterated the Ministry's pursuit to upgrade the level of its work.
