Minister of Culture and Archeology Abdul Amir al-Hamadani announced that there is a plan to make new building for the Iraqi National Museum in the land of al-Muthana airport in al-Karkh, Baghdad.
“The current National Museum area is not enough for the amount of daily visitors and the artifacts need bigger place to be exhibited,” said al-Hamadani.
He explained that the new museum will include a modern cultural complex, library, cinema, restaurant, parks and markets.
