Head of Protocol Department meets new US ambassador to Baghdad

 The Head of the Protocol Department, Minister Plenipotentiary Manhal Al-Safi discussed met with the new American Ambassador Matthew Tyler on Sunday, the bilateral relations between Washington and Baghdad, raising them to the level of ambition.

 Al-Safi expressed his hope that the new ambassador will serve the common interests of the two countries, expressing readiness of the ministry to provide all that would make the success of his mission in Baghdad. He pointed out that the work of ambassadors is to strengthen relations and   interests by cooperation at various political, economic, security, cultural and social levels.
