PM Adel Abdul Mahdi received Germany’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas and his delegation.
Abdul Mahdi expressed his comfort towards the developments of the Iraq-Germany relations especially during his last visit.
PM’s visit to Berlin resulted in making agreement of economy, cultural, security, regional understandings and to maintain countering terrorism.
“Iraqi people trust the mutual cooperation between Iraq and Germany and trust Germany’s industries and products,” said Abdul Mahdi.
He also added, “We support any effort that serves the stability of the region and the world. We are working on it by communicating with the European Union Countries. We will also be sending delegations to Tehran, Washington and Europe due to this regard,”
On his part, Germany’s Minister expressed how Germany cherishes the mutual cooperation and the desire to develop the bilateral relations even more, especially after signing the electricity new map with Siemens Co. that may help to improve Germany’s investment in Iraq.
