Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Relations revealed that President Salih is to make visits to Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
“The visits of PM Adel Abdul Mahdi to Kuwait and Salih’s to Jordan were to discuss the recent updates in the region regarding the tensions between Iran and US. These two visits aims at hindering the ghost of war away from Iraq and the region because our country is in the process of reconstruction and stability,” said the member of Committee of Foreign Relations Rebwar Kareem.
He added that these dialogues included the trade and economic exchange between Iraq and the regional countries in case things get worse in the upcoming period.
“When these tensions end, Iraq will still be going through the agreements with these countries,” he added.
