Japan nominates Iraqi Dr. Mahmoud al-Qaisi to receive the Imperial Medal

The Japanese government has nominated Iraqi Dr. Mahmoud al-Qaisi among the foreigners who will be awarded the imperial decorations for the spring of 2019, the first imperial decorations of the new Japanese Emperor Naruhito

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA Al-Saffra said that Al-Qaisi's recognition of this medal is in recognition of his contributions to the development of Japanese studies and Japanese language teaching, as well as promoting academic exchanges between Japan and Iraq.
