Parliament speaker Mohamed Al-Halbousi met Al-Hakim on Wednesday
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments of political issues in the country and stressed the continuation of the House of Representatives in its oversight and legislative role and adoption laws that affect the lives of citizens and contribute to provision of needs and services.
The statement added that the meeting also discussed security developments in the region, which will affect the stability of Iraq and stress that Iraq takes its role in easing the crisis through relations and its pivotal role in the region.
