Iraq's President, BarhamSalih, visited on Tuesday, May 21st, the Shrines of two Imams Musa IbnJa'far and Mohammed al-Jawad (peace be upon them).
A statement released by the President's office, which INA received a copy of, said that Salih met during his visit with Ayatollah al-FaqihSeyyed Hussein Ismail al-Sadr, and discussed enhancing of brotherhood ties and equality among Iraqi people components and sects, emphasizing on the joint work among religious and governmentalInstitutions to strength unity among Iraqis and confront the Takfiri thought. Salih hailed the noble stances of Ayatollah al-Sadr, to tighten and strengthen the community cohesion.
For his part, Ayatollah al-Sadr, welcomed Salih's visit to al-Kadhimiya, lauding his efforts to enhance the national unity among Iraqis and offering best services to the Iraqi people.
