Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammed Ali al-Hakeem met the Peter Eriksson, the Minister for International Development Cooperation.
The two have discussed the files of economy, trade, environment and reconstruction in Iraq, especially in the recaptured areas in addition to extending Sweden strategy to support Iraq.
Al-Hakeem expressed that he cherish to the mutual cooperation and relations with Sweden and that Iraq is highly interested in the sustainable growth requirements.
On his part, Eriksson also expressed his country’s readiness to support Iraq in terms of economic development, fighting corruption and the control of Water Resources.
