Foreign Minister gives a lecture on peace and development in Stockholm

Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim on Tuesday gave a lecture on peace and development at a Stockholm forum discussion sponsored by the Swedish Foreign Ministry and Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. According to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the Iraqi News Agency that the biggest challenge in Iraq is to rebuild the economy on the basis of modern scientific, stressing the importance of the democratic system and the need to support its institutions in Iraq.

He stressed that the reference Sistani had a significant impact in finding a balance of society, and laying the foundations for the agreement of Iraqis on the Constitution as a reference for any successful democratic and political process.
