EITI welcomes the decision of publishing MOO’s reports

Iraqi Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative – IETI praised the government efforts in maintaining the transparency of Extractive Industries and welcomed the decision of the final reports of the extractive general companies of Iraqi Ministry of Oil – MOO.

This came in a letter sent by the Executive Director of EITI secretary Mark Robinson where he praised the recognizable progress of this initiative activity in Iraq and praising the accomplishment that was achieved by publishing the data online so that citizens to see the production rates.

Robinson proposed that the Iraqi delegation that is to participate in the International Conference of Paris, to present this progress front of other participated countries and to be taken as an ideal example in this regard.
