THE PRESIDENT RECEIVES THE RUSSIAN DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER

 President Barham Salih received Mr. Yury Borisov, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Russian side of the Iraqi-Russian Committee for Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two friendly countries and ways of developing them in all fields.
They also reviewed trade and economic cooperation in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
The meeting also discussed the work of the Joint Iraqi-Russian Committee and the need to pursue jointly in order to ensure the success of its decisions by following up the signing of the reached agreements 
President Salih and Mr. Borisov reviewed the latest political developments at the Arab and international levels.
