The Ministry of Youth and Sport confirmed today the work line in Habibiya stadium is elevating to finish it before the scheduled date put by the ministry and the executive company.
The Ministry’s Spokesman Mowafaq Abdul Wahaab stated to INA, saying that the scheduled opening date was specified on next September, but it would be advanced to next July due to compressed and continuous works.
Wahaab showed that his ministry would send invitations to world football celebrities to hold friendly match in the day of the stadium opening, referring that all the stadium requirements are available inside it except the screens, which will reach Iraq within the next three weeks.
