President Barham Salih stressed on the need to elevate the service status of the city of Mosul, and eradicate corruption, which has directly affected the economic situation as well as the livelihood of the people.
Salih received Muzahim al-Khayat Head of the Crisis Cell of Nineveh, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad on Monday.
During the meeting, Salih emphasized that the people of Mosul deserve all the support, care, and attention after their suffering from the domination of the terrorist gangs of ISIS.
The President was briefed on the plans and programs prepared by the Crisis Cell for the purpose of organizing administrative affairs, enhancing the security situation, and meeting the legitimate demands of the people.
For his part, al-Khayat valued the support and care attached by the President to the Province, and his persistent guidance to overcome the obstacles and problems in a manner that contributes to the development of the status of the city.
Saleh Abdullah, Minister of Industry and Minerals, opened a factory of asphalt coatings in Anbar province, which is considred the first industrial project there after liberating the province, INA's correspondent said.
