Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad said on Sunday: that what was carried out in the Anfal operations was genocide against the people of Kurdistan.
The media office said in a statement that the city of Garmian in the district of Kalar province of Sulaymaniyah witnessed the establishment of the ceremony to commemorate the thirty-first anniversary of the crime of Anfal against the people of Kurdistan, in the presence of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad.
The statement added that Al-Haddad delivered a speech on the painful occasion, during which Sadik conveyed his condolences to the families of martyrs of Kurdistan.
The plan of the buried regime was an attempt to obliterate the national identity of the Kurds, and used all kinds of internationally banned weapons to kill women, children and the elderly, and to displace and destroy villages in most areas of Kurdistan, and what happened in the Anfal operations, Genocide, Unfortunately, all this happened before the eyes of the international community.
