Iraqi civil Aviation Authority (I.C.A.A) said on Sunday that number of passengers (arrivals and departures) through Iraqi Airports was more than 1.5 million during the first quarter of this year, 2019. A statement by the Ministry of Transport (Ina received a copy of) said: “Air traffic statistics for airports operating in the country was- (1,637,462) passengers; No. of flights- (20206); landing and departing. The Iraqi civil Aviation Authority witnessed an evident increase in numbers of passengers and flights to/from Iraqi Airports; compared with previous years”.
