Al-Halbousi meets members of Iraqi community in the United States of America

 The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation and in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador Dr. Farid Yassin, met members of the Iraqi community residing in the United States.

At the beginning of the meeting, the national anthem was played, followed by a minute of silence for the victims of the tragic death of the ferry in the city of Mosul.

The Parliament Speaker welcomed the members of the Iraqi community during a speech, pointing out that Iraq is for all Iraqis and in need of the competencies of his sons to return and work together for Iraq, indicating that the circumstances of Iraq has led to the exodus of minds outside the country, but the security situation now is getting better, and Iraq needs a stand of its sons of all components.

The meeting exchanged views on the next stage and the most important challenges and H.E. listened to their views and their most important needs and demands, where he promised to follow it up seriously and urgently.

The meeting was attended by a large group of Iraqis from different professions and social strata.
