Iraqi Speaker of Parliament Muhammed al-Halbusi and the US Vice President Mike Pence discussed the security and intelligence support by US-Led coalition to Iraq.
This occurred during al-Halbusi’s visit to the US that it is set to be according to 5 days and has an agenda to meet other official figures as well.
Pence and al-Halbusi discussed the mutual relations between Iraq and the US and the mean to keep up continuous cooperation between the two.
They also discussed counter-terrorism and fighting extremism in addition to end the sources that are funding it as they have made talks regarding investment and supporting the Iraqi government in order to provide services and job opportunities.
Both have regarded to the file of the IDPs and how to help to bring them back to their homelands safely.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim on Thursday discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi coordination regional and international issues.
