Water resources Ministry announced Wednesday to increase their energy and their locker using al Shwayja in Maysan province, indicating a plan to control runoff and flooding waters.
Ministry spokesman, O’wan Dhiab, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Ministry of water resources moving orientation to increase their energy and locker using the depressions in the country including al Showayja marsh which accommodates from 800 million to one billion cubic meters", stating that" use it seasonally with reservoir Procedures for handling and creating the surrounding storage securely.
