The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Al-Haddad on Monday met with the Minister of Municipalities and Tourism in the Kurdistan Region, Nawrouz Mauloud and the accompanying delegation, a number of issues related to coordination mechanisms and ways of cooperation between the ministry and the Federal Ministry.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor of Erbil and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities of Iraq, during the meeting they discussed the reality of tourism and antiquities in Iraq, ways to develop this vital sector and continuity communication between service institutions in the region and the federal government.
Al-Haddad pointedoutimportance of tourism as a key source to revitalization of economy, especially as Kurdistan has the necessary elements and areas and centers of entertainment, as well as the importance of implementing modern programs and find future plans for the development of this vital sector in all provinces of Iraq.
