Emergency in Wasit to face floods

The Crisis Cell committee in Wasit Governorate gave its directions today to declare the state of emergency to face the waves of floods and heavy rain.

INA correspondent Jamal Fayadh referred that the committee ordered that the villages expected to be submitted to the floods must be evacuated in order not to have any possible accidents.

The committee called the locals living in the border territories to cooperate fully with the concerned governmental offices, Fayadh added.

The committee confirmed of taking control on the situation till now, and there are no fears about the next happenings, Fayadh concluded.
