Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi met at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo on Saturday with Secretary General and ambassadors accredited to the Arab League.
The opportunity now to renew the Arab situation, and we must benefit from the lessons of the past and witnessed by our countries of wars and conflicts, as Iraq has gone through wars and crises over four decades destroyed infrastructure. Abdul-Mahdi said.
For his part, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abo Al- Gheit said: Iraq has succeeded and its foreign policy is successful in its relations with Arab countries. We look forward to the role of Iraqi leadership to promote unity, stability and development and serve the peoples of our countries that have suffered long, Wishing Iraq and its people further development.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim on Thursday discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi coordination regional and international issues.
