Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said on Saturday that Iraq is a pluralistic parliamentary country and that the constitution is the ruler among the political forces.
Abdul Mahdi added our country cooperates with everyone and rejects the axes policy and war that destroyed our countries and our peoples, explaining that Iraqi women have a large role and an active presence in the political process and democracy and all aspects of life which represent 25 percent of parliament.
The Egyptian People's Assembly Speaker Ali Abdel Aal welcomed the Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation, stressing that the issue Iraq and Egypt is one and that Egypt faced a difficult conditions, such as what Iraq has gone through and surpassed also. He wished Iraq to develop and prosperity.
