The Media Network and the Electoral Commission will soon sign a memorandum of understanding to support the democratic process in the media

The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Fadl Farajallah, discussed with a delegation of the Electoral Commission for the elections on Tuesday the memorandum of understanding to be signed between the Commission and the network for coordination in the field of media and public communication and media campaigns of the Commission.

"The mission of the network and UNHCR is the same," said Farajullah, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), praising "the role played by the Commission in urging voters and their preparations for the upcoming local elections."

"The network will harness all its efforts to support UNHCR" .
