Minister of Electricity Loay Al-Khatib inaugurated in Thi-Qar the new secondary transfer station (33/11) KV, in the presence of Governor Yahya Al-Naciri.
Speaking at the opening ceremony attended by the Iraqi News Agency.
Al-Khatib said that "a secondary transformer station was opened in the second district of Sumer, in the center of the city of Nasiriyah. It includes 33,11 kV transformations, each 31.5 (MII2), containing (14) feeder (11) KV Schneider type, French origin, high technology, "noting that" the cost of the project amounted to 4 billion and 450 million dinars. "
"The station will help reduce frequent power cuts during the processing period and accommodate any expected increase in loads," he added.
